About us

What started in 1897 as "Stoomfabriek De Akerboom" (Steam Timber Factory) has grown into a modern design company, "Bree's New World", which creates furniture of a contemporary and superb style. Generations of the van Bree family have been working for this unique furniture factory.

It is the people who determine the quality of the product, from the very first concept of a new design up to the delivery of the furniture at the customer's address. Bree's New World offers a wide range of top design furniture in the Netherlands and far beyond its borders.

Our designers are more than just professionals. That is why they are called furniture composers!
